The Pirate Night int he Canyon of the Cetina River
Omis, a small town situated at the mouth of the Cetina River, boats a hundred-year-old pirate tradition. From the 12th to the 14th century Omis was ruled by the famous Omis Pirates. Their base was a few kilometres up the Cetina River on a small island in front of Kastil Slanica restaurant. In order to show our guests how it once was when the Pirates ruled over this area, we organize a weekly Pirate night in the Cetina River Canyon where we take them on a trip to the past.
Programme of the Pirate Night includes :
-gathering in front of ‘Radmanove mlinice’ tourist agency near the Omiš bridge at 19 :30 h
-boat ride of about half an hour on the Cetina River until the ‘Kaštil Slanica’ restaurant
-encounter with the pirates of Omiš on the Cetina River
-rich pirate dinner in ‘Kaštil Slanica’ restaurant
-fun and animation with the pirates of Omiš and live music
-transportation by bus back to Omiš at 23 :00 h
